Membership Expectations

As a member of BSM @ TSU, you are called to grow in faith, serve others, and lead with Christ-like character. Our expectations reflect our commitment to spiritual growth, discipleship, and campus impact.

  • Live out Christ-like character in words, actions, and relationships.
  • Dedicate at least 2 hours per week to campus ministry.
  • Participate in Spring Retreat for spiritual renewal and fellowship.
  • Engage in weekly campus outreach to share God’s love.
  • Attend leadership meetings to grow in ministry and service.
  • Serve and support one another in faith and community.

What Students Can Expect to Gain from

The Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) at TSU is more than just a campus organization—it’s a community of faith, growth, and service designed to help students become Christ-centered leaders while making a local and global impact.

 

1. Spiritual Growth & Discipleship

  • A deeper relationship with Christ by living out Colossians 2:6-7—being rooted, built up, and strengthened in faith.
  • Weekly Bible studies, devotionals, and mentorship opportunities.

2. Leadership & Ministry Development

  • Hands-on leadership experience through weekly campus outreach and leadership meetings.
  • Training in discipleship and event organization to prepare students for lifelong ministry and service.
